Description

Get the ideal bedroom light for children who are animal lovers with the Elephant Night Light. This table lamp is made from a soft and squishy silicone material, making it incredibly child-friendly. It also has 16 colour options, 10 brightness levels, and 4 transition styles for your child to be able to choose from.

Our Stylist Says

I love the glow elephant as it adds a playful, yet modern touch to any nursery or child’s bedroom. Its colour-changing feature means it can adapt to different moods and settings, making it both functional and fun. It works particularly well in minimal or Scandi-inspired interiors where its simple white form can stand out without clashing. Practical styling tips include placing it on a bedside table or shelf alongside soft textiles and neutral tones to create a calming atmosphere. It also lends itself well to informal, eclectic, or whimsical interiors if you want a statement piece that doubles as a night light.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
