Description

Update your child's existing pendant light fittings with the Dome Easy fit Shade. This lampshade comes in a Navy finish that is perfect for blue rooms or darker colour schemes. It also features a simplistic ribbed dome design that is ideal for older children who want a more modern or minimalist look.

Our Stylist Says

I love this blue dome light for its clean, modern aesthetic and versatile colour that works well in both contemporary and retro-inspired interiors. Its simple, easy-fit design makes it a practical choice for kitchens, dining areas, or even a child's bedroom, adding a pop of colour without overwhelming the space. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral or monochrome surroundings to let the blue shine, and keep other fixtures minimal to maintain a streamlined look. For a playful twist, it's also effective when used in a cluster or as part of a layered lighting scheme, combining function with a touch of colour to elevate the overall design.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
