Description

Perfect for school-age children, the Blue Cloud Wall Light adds a modern yet fun look to any bedroom. This wall light comes in a blue finish that is ideal for blue bedrooms and darker colour schemes. It also features a creative backlit design that reflects against the wall for a halo glow effect.

Our Stylist Says

I love this cloud-shaped light for its playful yet functional design, making it a charming addition to any child's bedroom or nursery. Its soft blue colour adds a calming touch while also creating a gentle night-time glow. It works particularly well in whimsical or themed interiors, such as Scandinavian-inspired schemes or pastel palettes, and serves as a versatile feature in nurseries, playrooms, or even creative corner spaces. For styling, consider pairing it with light wood furniture and soft textiles to enhance its soothing vibe. Practical tips include placing it at a height that’s accessible for switching on and off easily, and allowing it to act as both a nightlight and a playful decorative element that sparks imagination.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
