Description

Add a gorgeous lampshade to your children's bedroom with the Butterfly Shade in pink. This lampshade features a beautiful reflective butterfly design and is ideal for lighter coloured bedrooms. It also can easily fit onto pre-existing light fittings and diffuses a warm glow into the room.

Our Stylist Says

I love the butterfly lamp shade in pink for adding a playful yet soft touch to a variety of interiors. Its subtle colour and delicate pattern make it a versatile choice, particularly well-suited to kids’ rooms, nurseries, or even a cosy corner in a bedroom or living space. When styling, consider pairing it with minimalist or pastel decor to let the shade be a focal point, or mix it with neutral tones for a gentle pop of colour. Practical tips include ensuring the bulb’s brightness complements the room’s atmosphere - a warm, soft light works beautifully here - and hanging it at an appropriate height so the butterfly pattern can be appreciated up close. Overall, this light shade’s charm lies in its ability to soften and brighten while adding a touch of whimsy.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
