Description
Crafted from strong galvanised metal, each stool is built to withstand regular use while maintaining its refined appearance. The galvanised steel construction provides excellent resistance to wear and corrosion, making these stools a reliable choice for both domestic and light commercial environments. Finished with an elegant gloss, the stools deliver a contemporary look that effortlessly complements a wide range of interior styles, from industrial and minimalist to modern and urban chic. Each stool stands firmly on four robust metal legs, ensuring stability and balance during use. The legs are fitted with anti-slip and anti-scratch feet, designed to protect your floors from marks and damage while also preventing unwanted movement. Whether placed on tiled kitchen floors, wooden surfaces, or polished concrete, these stools remain secure and floor-friendly. For added strength and long-term support, the stools feature under-seat cross supports. These not only enhance structural integrity but also provide additional stability, ensuring the stools retain their shape and sturdiness even with frequent use. This thoughtful design makes them suitable for busy households and hospitality settings where reliability is essential. Comfort meets practicality with the generously proportioned seat, offering a supportive and well-balanced sitting experience. Measuring 40 cm wide x 40 cm deep x 61 cm high, the stools are perfectly sized for standard countertops and breakfast bars, providing an ideal seating height without overwhelming the space. Their compact footprint allows them to be neatly tucked under counters when not in use, helping to maintain a clean and uncluttered look.
Our Stylist Says
I love this set of four black gloss bar stools as they offer a sleek, contemporary look with a practical galvanised steel finish, making them ideal for both domestic and commercial kitchens or bars. Their sturdy, ready-assembled design ensures convenience, while the galvanised steel adds an industrial edge that works well in urban, modern, or minimalist interiors. To style them effectively, pair with a reclaimed wood or matte-topped breakfast bar to add contrast and warmth. They also sit comfortably in open-plan spaces or like in the image, a casual dining setting, where their clean lines keep the overall look uncluttered and sophisticated. A great choice for adding a touch of modernity without sacrificing practicality.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
