Description

Stripes of horizontal pattern decorate the Ginevra Lampshade, and its name translates from Italian to mean ‘white wave’. The pattern is hand screen printed onto raw tussar silk, which is hand gathered and bordered by a handwoven gold and teal trim. The vibrancy of the trim pairs well with our similarly coloured Artemisia Cushion Cover. This is the smaller of our two lampshade sizes.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this Ginevra shade for its versatile, timeless appeal. The off-white and black combo provides a smart contrast that can complement both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in neutral settings or with natural textures, adding a touch of sophistication without overwhelming the space. When styling, consider pairing it with dark metallic or matte finishes for a contemporary look, or with vintage, wooden accents for a cosy, classic feel. The 35cm size makes it suitable for bedside lamps or smaller table lamps, where it offers a clean, polished finish. To get the most from it, keep the surrounding colours and materials simple, so the shade can be a subtle yet stylish feature.
