Description

Near the Lake Gillear Wildlife Reserve in Victoria, Australia, many of the houses are built on stilts to protect from floods and maximise views. A fitting name then, for this striking pine coffee table which features thin, stilt-like beaten metal legs with a mottled, dragon's egg-esque design. Due to its rectangular shape, it's perfect for creating a focal point in a larger sitting room.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Gillear coffee table for its understated yet versatile look. The grey wash finish gives it a relaxed, lived-in feel that works especially well in rustic, Scandinavian, or industrial interiors. Its simple, clean lines make it adaptable to a variety of styles, while the muted tones help it blend seamlessly with both neutral and more colourful schemes. For styling tips, consider layering with textured accessories like woven trays, ceramic coasters, or a curated collection of books to add personality. It’s a practical piece-perfect for centre-stage in a living room or as a side table arrangement, offering enough surface space without overpowering the room’s decor.
