Here is an offbeat, minimalist reinterpretation of the classic chandelier! The baroque silhouette with its multiple arms is reinvented in a simple, stripped-back geometric language. The arms unfold on a flat plane, forming a plant-inspired tree-like effect. These flat volumes floating in the air draw a path of undulating light. The traditional ornaments of the old chandelier have been preserved: the structure that mixes metal and glass is embellished with flower-shaped pendants and precious chiselled glass shades. The Ghebo pendant is inspired by the labyrinthine canals of Venice. In Venetian, Ghebi evokes the glittering sunlight on the canal water.
The Ghebo pendant is a great choice for adding visual interest to a variety of interiors, thanks to its modern metal and glass combination. I love how its elongated form and organic, branch-like metal structure bring a sculptural element to the ceiling, making it both functional and a statement piece. It works especially well in contemporary, minimalist, or rustic spaces where it can complement natural materials like wood and neutral tones. Practical styling tips include hanging it above a dining table or in a large, open-plan area to ensure it’s a focal point, while avoiding overcrowding with other statement fixtures. Pairing it with warm LED bulbs will highlight its unique shape and provide a cosy, inviting atmosphere.
