Description

Make a bold statement with the Georgia Tiered Mesh Ceiling Pendant in Gold, a show-stopping centrepiece for any room. Featuring multiple layers of gold mesh, this pendant light creates a stunning, diffused glow while adding a touch of art deco glamour. Ideal for large spaces, its striking design transforms any interior with a luxurious, golden radiance.

Our Stylist Says

I love this gold tiered mesh pendant for adding a touch of modern elegance to a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary or industrial-style spaces, but can also bring warmth and texture to more eclectic or bohemian rooms. The layered, open design creates a lovely interplay of light and shadow, making it an eye-catching feature without overwhelming the space. For styling tips, consider pairing it with warm-toned or neutral colour schemes to highlight its gold finish, and hang it above a dining table or in a living area where it can serve as a striking centrepiece. Keep the surrounding decor minimal to let the pendant’s unique silhouette stand out.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
