Description

Scandinavian finesse meets East Asian minimalism in Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm’s Georg Stool, engineered by Danish design expert Skagerak. Fashioned from light FSC-certified wood that is sourced from European forests, the sleek stool is completed with a soft woollen cushion, elegantly strapped to its host with leather ties. Skagerak infuses its 40-year experience crafting Nordic-inspired furniture into each design it creates. From its base in Denmark, it ensures each piece that leaves its workshop is finished to the finest possible standard. Skagerak says: Oakwood is a living material. As it comes untreated, it may react to grease, colourants, changes in air humidity, and water. Cleaning instructions:Wipe clean with a soft brush or a microfibre cloth. For thorough cleaning, use a damp cloth dipped in a mix of natural dish soap and lukewarm water, using a soft-bristled brush for scrubbing tougher stains.

Our Stylist Says

The stool works beautifully in minimalist and Scandinavian-inspired interiors, where its sleek black oak and understated design add a touch of natural sophistication. I love how versatile it is - it can serve as extra seating, a side table, or even a cosy footstool. A key styling tip is to pair it with soft, textured cushions or throws to soften the look and make it more inviting. It pairs well with neutral colour schemes, but adding a pop of colour through accessories can also make it stand out. Its multi-functional appeal and clean lines make it a clever addition to both contemporary and pared-back traditional spaces.
