Description

For a subtle yet eye-catching accent in your home, the Geo Cushion With Lurex Yarn in White adds a touch of sparkle to your space, and its geometric pattern is subtly woven with lurex yarn threads for an elevated appearance. The off-white finish keeps the look fresh and versatile, while the compact size makes it ideal for layering or styling solo. It s a playful yet elegant accent that suits lighter colour schemes beautifully.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the geo cushion adds a subtle touch of texture and interest without overwhelming a neutral palette. Its white base makes it versatile, effortlessly complementing both modern and traditional interiors. The lurex yarn detail gives it a hint of shimmer, perfect for adding a bit of understated glamour to a sofa or bed. For styling tips, try pairing it with soft monochrome tones for a sleek, contemporary look, or mix with textured throws and other cushions in complementary shades for a cosy, layered feel. It’s a great choice for those wanting a decorative yet understated touch that works well in living rooms and bedrooms alike.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
