Our Stylist Says
I love the Genie headboard for its plush velvet finish and striking maroon colour, making it a real statement piece in the bedroom. It works particularly well in modern or contemporary interiors, adding a touch of luxury and warmth. For styling, consider keeping the bedding neutral or layered with textured throws and cushions in complementary tones like grey, blush, or metallics to enhance the richness of the fabric. It's also versatile enough to be paired with wooden or metallic furniture, making it suitable for both minimalistic and opulent schemes. Practical tips include anchoring the headboard with throw cushions that match your colour palette, and using artwork or lighting above to draw focus upwards, creating a cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
