I’m a fan of the Stafa table’s slender oak legs paired with a dark olive linoleum top - it feels both warm and contemporary, and the linoleum surface is hardwearing and easy to clean. It works brilliantly in Scandi-inspired kitchens, minimal dining rooms or a neat home-office setup, thanks to its clean lines and muted colour.
For styling, keep the tabletop uncluttered: a simple ceramic vase with foliage or a stack of stoneware plates will do. Pair with woven-seat or black-metal chairs and layer a natural-fibre rug underneath to anchor the space. Add a brass lamp or sculptural candleholder for subtle contrast when you want to dress it up.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
