I’m a fan of the Arp side table for its clean lines and warm smoked-oiled oak finish, which bring a subtle sculptural quality without overpowering a room. Its 55 cm diameter and slender legs make it equally at home beside a sofa in a Scandi-inspired lounge or as a bedside surface in a minimalist bedroom.
For styling, keep the top uncluttered: a small ceramic vase, a stacked art book and a simple lamp all sit comfortably without masking the wood grain. Pair it with a leather-upholstered armchair or a woollen throw to introduce texture, and use the generous gap under the tabletop to tuck in a woven basket for extra storage.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
