I’m a fan of the Gatsby bed for its clean lines and plush, panelled headboard - it immediately lifts a room without feeling overbearing. The soft grey upholstery suits anything from a Scandi-inspired scheme through to a more urban, loft-style bedroom, and it pairs nicely with both light and dark woods.
For styling, keep your bedding crisp and neutral, then add depth with a textured throw or knitted cushions in muted tones. Flank the bed with simple, low-profile nightstands and slim-lined lamps to maintain the streamlined look. A soft, low-pile rug in a complementary shade will anchor the space, and a couple of potted plants or a tall vase of foliage will introduce just the right amount of life.
