Price History
Description
Gamma is an oak and white chest of drawers designed for modern UK homes, offering 7 drawers in a 5-over-2 layout in a compact, versatile footprint that suits bedrooms, hallways and everywhere in between. At 91cm wide, Its footprint is generous enough to offer serious everyday capacity while still fitting comfortably against a typical bedroom wall. Each drawer runs smoothly and offers proper depth, so folded clothing, linens or general household items all have a dedicated home rather than being piled on top of each other, and the consistent oak and white finish across every drawer front keeps the whole piece looking coordinated rather than mismatched. Built from quality board materials and finished to a consistent, durable standard, it's designed to withstand years of drawers opening and closing without runners sticking or fronts coming loose. It suits a wide range of households, from young professionals wanting smart, low-fuss storage to families who need reliable everyday capacity for clothing and household items. On the practical side, with assembly support included, it's a straightforward piece to get up and running, whether you fit it yourself or take advantage of the assembly service. Practical, durable and finished to a genuinely modern standard, the Gamma chest of drawers is built to be the kind of furniture you stop noticing because it simply works, day after day, quietly doing its job in the background of everyday life.
Our Stylist Says
This chest of drawers is a versatile piece that combines the warmth of oak with a crisp white finish, making it a popular choice for a range of interior styles. I love its practical design - with five spacious drawers that offer ample storage - and the natural oak top adds a touch of texture and colour. It works well in both modern and traditional interiors, particularly in neutral, Scandinavian, or farmhouse schemes. For styling, consider pairing it with minimalist accessories or soft textiles to keep the look fresh and uncluttered. You can also add organisational extras like coloured boxes in the drawers to keep everything tidy and visually appealing. Overall, it’s a smart and functional addition that can adapt as your interior evolves.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
