These dining chairs from Gallery Direct have a retro-inspired design that will bring instant interest to any space. Both chairs in the set of two are crafted with a curved back and base, and are fully upholstered in a luxe, velvety fabric.

I love these Holm dining chairs for their sculptural shape and soft, velvet-effect fabric. The deep olive tone works equally well in contemporary, mid-century or eclectic schemes, especially paired with a simple oak or dark-stained table. Their low, curved back keeps the room feeling open, making them ideal for both compact city flats and larger open-plan spaces.
For styling, place them on a neutral, natural-fibre rug to balance the sheen, then add brass or marble accents on your table to lift the look. A few leafy plants will echo the green hue nicely. To keep the fabric looking its best, vacuum gently and spot-clean with a damp cloth as needed.
