This lovely dining table is ideal for smaller spaces, offering a retro feel with a contemporary touch. The beautifully-shaped top is perfectly complemented by the elegant legs. I’ve been using the Lewes smoked-oak table in both city apartments and country cottages - its clean, tapered legs and warm finish make it a versatile centrepiece. It sits neatly in Scandi-inspired schemes when paired with light linen chairs, or add a touch of contrast in an industrial loft by swapping in black metal seating.
For styling, keep the tabletop clutter-free: a low ceramic bowl or a cluster of bud vases works better than tall arrangements, and a simple woven runner brings in texture without hiding the grain. Understated glassware and a single statement pendant above will complete the look.
