Gently contoured solid wood legs incorporate an anti-tipping design to allow for hands-free sitting and the generously sized seat easily accommodates a parent and child creating a cosy nook for bedtime stories. Finely upholstered with removable/washable armrests in durable woven polyester, the Serena Rocking & Nursing Chair comes with the matching Serena Footstool offering extra support for feet with the added practicality of an ample storage space for feeding or changing essentials. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
