Description

The Serena Cot Bed + Bedside Crib Nursery Room Set evolves in perfect symmetry with your baby from birth up to 5 years old. Starting as a Co-Sleep Crib, it grows as your child grows, offering the perfect sleeping solution for each stage of their sleep journey. Made using sustainably sourced natural wood and non-toxic, baby-safe paints, the Serena Collection is ethically manufactured to the highest global safety standards. The set is a 2 piece set that includes the Serena Cot bed + Bedside Crib and the Serena Dresser. Dresser: The Serena Dresser seamlessly transitions between a changing station and a dresser with 3 spacious drawers for all your essentials. Cotbed: The Serena Crib is beautifully designed to convert to a full-size cot bed. The soft contours and smooth flowing lines of this complementary furniture set seamlessly complement any style. The Serena Cot Bed + Bedside Crib is designed for use as a co-sleeping bedside crib or stand-alone crib, a full-size cot bed, toddler bed and first bed, converting as your child grows. First stage, bedside crib: When using as a bedside crib, choose from 6 different height adjustments to suit everything from lower frame beds to divan beds, from 40cm up to 70cm high. Second stage, cotbed: Use your cot bed from birth with the high mattress position for easier access to your newborn in those early days. Lower the mattress level once baby starts to pull up. Third stage, toddler bed: As your baby grows, the Serena cot bed transitions to a cosy toddler bed for an easier transition for your child. Fourth stage, first bed: For the first steps towards independent sleeping, convert to the first bed, suitable for children up to 5 years. The feet are the perfect height for little legs.

Our Stylist Says

I love this cot bed and wardrobe set for its clean, contemporary look that works beautifully in minimalist nurseries or Scandi-inspired interiors. Its soft white finish paired with natural wood accents provides a calming, uncluttered vibe that suits both modern and transitional styles. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral-toned textiles and playful, colourful accessories to add personality without overwhelming the space. The versatile design also makes it easy to incorporate into various colour schemes and decor themes, making it a flexible choice for growing families seeking a stylish yet functional nursery.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
