Description

The Serena Bedside Crib and Cotbed evolves in perfect symmetry with your baby from birth up to 5 years old. Starting as a next-to-me crib, it grows as your child grows, offering the perfect sleeping solution for each stage of their sleep journey. Made using natural wood and non-toxic, baby-safe paints, they're manufactured to the highest global safety standards. Beautifully designed to convert from a bedside crib to a full-size cot bed, toddler bed and first bed. The soft contours and smooth flowing lines of this co-sleeping crib seamlessly complement any nursery room style. Bedside Crib Suitable from birth up to 6 months, the Serena Bedside Crib offers a safe and secure sleep space for your newborn. With 6 different height adjustments, you can ensure your baby is fully visible 'next-to-me' as you sleep. Fully breathable and ventilated with slatted sides and base, your baby will be safe and secure in their own sleep space. The textile parts are made from 100% organic cotton. Bedside Crib Mattress With 'Cool-Plus' technology, this mattress has a fully breathable soft core encased in a luxurious ventilated polyester cover. It also features Adaptable technology - a textile treatment using temperature-sensitive polymer that provides a dynamic response: the warmer it gets, the more Adaptive will evaporate moisture. More evaporation means a dryer and cooler sleeping environment, keeping baby comfortable all night long. The zippable cover of this mattress can be removed and washed at 40° for optimum hygiene. Cotbed With a unique contoured design with soft flowing lines, this cotbed create a serene and cosy sleep space. It easily converts through 4 stages: newborn cot (0-6 months), cotbed (6 months to 3 years), toddler bed (3-4 years) and first bed (4-5 years). The mattress can be adjusted between two heights for younger/older babies. Dresser The Serena Dresser brings the perfect blend of elegance and functionality to your nursery. Made from solid wood and with soft edges, it blends seamlessly with the crib/cotbed designs. It has three spacious drawers with luxurious soft-close mechanisms, providing ample space for nappies, wipes, creams, clothes, blankets, and so much more. Designed to be both beautiful and functional, the Serena Dresser will remain a cherished part of your home for years to come. Its versatile design allows you to easily switch from a baby changer to a dresser by simply adding or removing the bespoke Hera Changing Station (sold separately). The Serena Cotbed and Bedside Crib are tested and fully certified to EN716 (Cot), EN1130 (Crib) & BS8509 (First bed), ASTM F406/ASTM F1821& AS/NZS2172. About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
