Description
Sober, but strong in character… “Fyr” means pine in Danish: the name of this stool highlights the uniqueness and durability of this material. Carefully made from solid pine, the Fyr stool combines simplicity and quality. It features a minimalist design with subtle details. The combination of square and round elements gives rise to a perfectly balanced design, which exudes strength and elegance. Very versatile, Fyr can fulfil many functions: additional seat, side table, pedestal table or even decorative sculpture. Taiwanese designer Yuchen Wu explains the design process: “When designing something as simple as a stool, the challenge is to make it simple and practical, but still interesting. The result is a balanced alliance between robustness and simplicity, enhanced with details highlighting the pine wood. ‘’
