This space-saving media cabinet fits into any corner neatly, and yet still offers plenty of room for components. The overhanging top is big enough to support a larger TV, and the drawer is a useful place for TV remotes and games consoles. A cable hole at the rear helps keeps leads tidy. And as well as being very functional, it’s also gorgeously handcrafted. Made from American white oak and oak veneer, it has gently angled legs, panelled sides and metal drawer pulls. The wood is finished with a protective clear lacquer, which enhances the oak’s lovely natural grain. Its simple lines and warm brown tone suit both contemporary Scandi schemes and more traditional or farmhouse interiors, making it a versatile choice. To style it, keep the open shelf free of clutter - one or two low baskets work well to hide remotes or consoles. Use the drawer for DVDs or cables, and on top add a slim planter or a pair of ceramic vases to frame your TV. Tuck a trailing plant to one side for softening the angles and use discreet cable-management clips at the back to keep everything looking tidy.
