Our Stylist Says
This extension leaf is a fantastic option for those wanting flexibility in their dining space, especially if you often host guests or need to maximise seating. I love its simple, clean design in white oak, which complements both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in neutral or Scandinavian-inspired schemes, adding warmth and texture without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist tableware or contrasting with darker accessories for visual interest. To keep the look fresh, consider pairing it with light-toned chairs or using table runners in soft colours. It’s a practical addition that enhances functionality while maintaining an elegant look.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
