Originally designed by Verner Panton in 1964, the chrome Fun 1D M Pendant Light is still crafted by his design house, Verpan, today. A truly statement design piece, this pendant showcases a canopy of mother-of-pearl discs, each carefully suspended from three chrome-plated metal hoops using stainless steel rings. Finished with a black fabric cord and a chrome-plated metal ceiling rose, this elegant pendant is part of the coveted Fun collection and can be paired with coordinating wall, floor and table lights. Gifted with a unique sense of colour, shape and light, Verner Panton is renowned across the globe as one of Denmark's most influential designers. Boldly creating furniture and lighting that was completely unlike the work of his contemporaries, Panton's designs are housed in collections at New York's MoMA, Copenhagen's Danish Museum of Art and Design and the Design Museum in London.
