Description
Competition chair. Pure lines and incredible lightness for this aluminium chair with its extremely successful design. A real featherweight (just 4 kilos), this chair is rock solid thanks in particular to a specific and very technical assembly of the different parts. Highly ergonomic, the Fromme chair stands out for the absorbers placed under the seat which, like shock absorbers on a car, provide flexibility and suppleness for optimal comfort. The slightly curved shape of the seat and inclined plane on its front further increase comfort. On this upholstered version, the seat and back are padded and covered with a polyester fabric with a dynamic grid pattern. A confirmed cyclist, Canadian designer Yom Chung used to climb Mount Fromme outside Vancouver and was fascinated by the technical performance of his bike. He sought to rediscover the efficiency it offered him to reinvent the most common object and yet the greatest challenge for a designer: a chair. This new addition to the line of avant-garde products from Petite Friture proves once again that the brand gives young designers a chance and trusts them to create key pieces for its collections. Each colour gives a new conception of the sleek design of this incredibly light and efficient stackable chair.
