Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Freya round table for its straightforward, sturdy design and warm, natural finish. The slatted top and cross-brace legs give it a lightly rustic feel that works equally well in a modern Scandi-style kitchen or a relaxed country dining room. Styling tip: pair it with mixed-material chairs (think metal-framed seats or upholstered stools) to soften the wood and add texture. Keep centrepieces simple - a cluster of candles or a low ceramic vase - so the table’s clean lines remain the focus. To protect the finish in high-use areas, add removable placemats or a lightweight linen runner.

A Legacy of Home Comfort Dunelm's Journey

Dunelm isn't just another store; it's a British legacy. Kicked off in 1979 by the dynamic duo, Bill and Jeany Adderley, what began as a simple market stall in Leicester transformed into one of the UK's most prominent home furnishings retailers.

Fast forward a bit, and their first brick-and-mortar store sprang to life in Leicester in 1984. Dunelm didn't stop there, making waves throughout the decades, innovating and expanding, launching an online shopping experience, and securing its place on the London Stock Exchange.
