Description
Pioneer low stool from Fredericia Furniture designed by Maria Bruun offers a sculptural seating experience with high comfort. The combination of a soft, rounded seat and a sensual wooden frame creates a visually appealing whole. The wooden frame consists of four legs in a cross composition with elegant insets. This unique design is a modern example of Scandinavian design, where functionality meets Bruun’s characteristic minimalism.
Our Stylist Says
I love this stool’s clean lines and subtle colour palette-it realises a sophisticated yet approachable look. The light blue lacquered oak adds a soft pop of colour without overpowering, making it versatile for both contemporary and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms, either as an occasional seat or as a decorative accent next to a reading nook. Practical styling tips include pairing it with natural fibres and light woods to enhance its airy feel, or layering it with textured cushions for extra comfort. Its compact size makes it ideal for small spaces or as a versatile piece that can double up as a side table when needed.
