Description
The Franklin oak 2 door wardrobe with 2 storage drawers is constructed from solid oak and oak veneers using traditional techniques. The sophisticated design combines classic and contemporary details such as tall chamfered legs and feature turned-wood knobs. Designed by James Patterson for Habitat, the wardrobe combines practical storage with innovative design. A solid oak rail provides generous hanging space, and a solid oak rail on the inside of the left-hand door provides storage for ties and accessories. An internal mirror on the right-hand door is a practical solution for smaller spaces. Additional storage space is created by 3 drawers, 2 of which share a wide drawer front to create a seamless, uninterrupted finish. Wooden runners showcase the skill of the craftsmen who create each piece in a small factory in Europe. The wardrobe is part of the Franklin oak bedroom range.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
