I’m a big fan of the Francis console - the warm oak top and charcoal-grey painted base give it just enough contrast to sit comfortably in both traditional and more pared-back schemes. Its slim profile makes it ideal for hallways or behind a sofa, and the turned legs add a subtle nod to classic styling without feeling fussy.
For styling, I’d hang a simple round mirror or a framed print above, then balance a pair of small lamps or candleholders either side. Use the drawer fronts for stashing keys or mail, and on the lower shelf place woven baskets or a couple of low planters to keep the look tidy yet welcoming.
