Form Chair - / Brass foot by Normann Copenhagen Green/Gold

The Form chair combines a welcoming seat with a simple, elegant base. It consists of a large shell made of injection-moulded polypropylene. The brass-plated steel base is welded by hand. For a perfect aesthetic, the junction between seat and feet is superbly designed. The feet slot into the shell to form a natural extension of the seat. Three years of development were needed to perfect the moulded shell. Inclination, curves and thickness variations : it’s all designed down to the smallest detail to perfectly fit the body and offer optimum comfort. Thin and flexible in its upper part, the backrest thickens lower down to provide stability and support. The Form chair comes in a beautiful palette of timeless colours. Its universal, timeless style can stand the test of time while always remaining elegant. Danish designer Simon Legald designed the Form chair for his graduation project. He explains: "For many years, I had in mind the idea of what the ideal chair should look like. I wanted the base to fit in with the seat in a way I had never seen before. I analysed hundreds of chair designs from different eras. In my eyes, form is the essence of design. Form is what allows us to recognise an object, and also what allows it to be distinguished from other objects. ‘’ PLEASE NOTE.
