Description

Table lamps have the ability to bring character to a room. This 2 light Forella table lamp has a quirky and unique design due to the spherical lights and the terrazzo finish cylinder base. The slim structure also has a brass finish which adds a traditional feel to the piece and contrasts its quirky nature. Perfect for a bedside table, this modern lamp adds lots of personality and flare to your bedroom.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Terrazzo Table Lamp for its contemporary take on classic materials-combining terrazzo with brass details creates a versatile piece that adds subtle texture and sophistication. It's particularly effective in eclectic or modern interiors, especially when positioned on side tables, consoles, or shelves to bring a touch of visual interest without overwhelming the space. For styling tips, pair it with muted or monochrome surroundings to let the lamp stand out, or combine it with other brass accessories for a cohesive look. Its sculptural form also lends itself well to minimalistic environments, making it a flexible addition to both cosy nooks and spacious rooms.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
