Glass is at the heart of the creations of Italian company Fontana Arte. Light as a bubble, the Fontanella Wall light is the fruit of the exceptional skills of Fontana Arte's master glassmakers. The glass is skilfully worked in a fusion process between a transparent part and a satin-finish part, from which the light diffuses. The Fontanella Wall light is an assembly of two glass volumes. The inner tube of Frozzed glass is threaded and sandblasted, then joined to the wide globe of transparent Mouthblown glass. The refinement of the work lies in the manual assembly of the two parts, which requires the skilful technique of an experienced craftsman. Glass, which has always been the material par excellence for FontanaArte products, is borosilicate glass: ultra-resistant, it's the most crystalline on the market. The Galvanized metal Base contains the light source. Light and delicate, the superb Transparent glass globe forms an ethereal volume that fills with luminous substance. The choice of quality materials, the exceptional Glass workmanship and the elaborate shape of the Lampshade give this luminaire a sophisticated, timeless spirit worthy of the greatest design icons.
