Our Stylist Says
I love this compact desk’s versatility and clean design, making it ideal for cosy spaces or corner spots that need efficient use of space. The natural oak finish adds warmth and a subtle touch of Scandinavian-inspired style, pairing well with both modern and minimalist interiors. It’s practical for home offices, study nooks, or even as a writing corner, thanks to its rounded edges that bring safety and softness to the design. To style it effectively, consider placing a small desk organiser or a potted plant on top to keep the surface clutter-free, and complement it with a comfortable, ergonomic chair for an inviting workspace. This desk’s simplicity makes it flexible enough to fit seamlessly into various interior themes, from contemporary to rustic.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
