Description
The artist often blends abstractionism with realism in his work, using oil on canvas for this original painting. About the artist Although he also makes small sculptures and drawings, London-based Henry Ward works primarily as a painter. He creates all of his artworks either at his kitchen table, in his shed or at the studio as a way of opening up a constant dialogue between the way we work, and where.
Our Stylist Says
I love the bold colour blocking and textured composition of this piece, which makes it a versatile statement in many interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist spaces where it can add a splash of colour and visual interest without overwhelming the room. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral furnishings to let the artwork stand out, or placing it above a simple console or sideboard for a curated, gallery-like effect. Due to its vibrant palette, it can also serve as a focal point in an eclectic scheme, bringing energy and modernity to the overall aesthetic.
