Description

The Focus Low Narrow Bookcase will suit any room in the house, with plenty of sizes and finishes to choose from. All shelves and the outer frame in the Study collection are made with a strong 18mm thick board. Our Study bookcases also cleverly feature skirting board cut-outs making it easy to fit into any space in your home.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this narrow oak bookcase for its clean lines and light oak finish, which slot straight into Scandinavian, contemporary or even pared-back rustic schemes. Its slim profile makes it ideal for halls, home offices or beside a sofa without overwhelming the space. Styling-wise, alternate books with low-profile plant pots or woven baskets to break up the grain and keep it from looking too blocky. Use the cable port at the back for a small lamp or charging station on the top shelf, and consider pairing two units side by side for a custom built-in effect. Vary heights and textures - stack a couple of coffee-table books horizontally with a decorative object on top - to maintain visual interest.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
