Description

Centred around a mathematically plotted grid system, each painting is created using a combination of gesso and acrylic on an aluminium background. About the artist Born in Germany and based in London, Sabrina Brouwers creates artworks inspired by Sol Le Witt, a pioneering figure in the Conceptual Art movement. She challenges manmade forms by combining grid-like forms with fluid, circular shapes.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this piece for its minimalist yet engaging design-it's a subtle statement that can work well in both modern and industrial interiors. 'Focal Point I' is versatile and lends itself beautifully to spaces with neutral palettes, where it can add visual interest without overwhelming. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with clean-lined furniture and simple decor accents, allowing the artwork to truly stand out. It's ideal for feature walls in living rooms, hallways, or bedrooms, especially in spaces that benefit from a touch of contemporary sophistication. Practical tip: hang it at eye level to ensure it commands attention and acts as a true focal point within the room.

With over 30 Soho Houses across the globe, from vibrant Mumbai to trendy Austin and historic Berlin, the essence remains the same - offering a familiar, relaxed haven. Each House is meticulously designed, mirroring the unique flair of its surroundings.

Every location, with its distinct culture and history, serves as a muse for Soho Home's collections. This is evident in their specific pieces, like the elegant Manette bed found in Kettner's or the dazzling Juliana chandelier gracing the DUMBO House.
