Price History

Description

Designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerb for Flos, this contemporary floor lamp has an integrated LED that provides a bright and direct wash of light. Made from painted aluminium, its sleek profile is ideal for smaller spaces as the round base can slide underneath sofas or armchairs. The 45 degree rotating head means you can cast light exactly where you need it and the diffuser in the LED avoids a dazzling or multi-shadowed light effect. Worth knowing To create a more innovative look, this light has been designed to incorporate the LED within it. This LED is not replaceable but has a lifespan of up to 25,000 hours. LEDs use around 85% less energy than incandescent bulbs.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Flos Tab LED Floor Lamp for its sleek, minimalist design that adds a modern touch without overwhelming a space. It works particularly well in contemporary interiors or Scandinavian-style rooms where clean lines and functionality are key. The lamp’s adjustable head makes it practical for reading nooks or creating ambient lighting in living rooms. For styling, consider pairing it with soft neutral tones or contrasting darker furniture to highlight its modern aesthetic. It’s also versatile enough to slot into bedrooms or home offices, especially where space-saving, adjustable lighting is desired. Keep the base tidy and position it near seating areas or beside a sofa to maximise its functionality and sleek silhouette.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
