The Florence square extending table is a versatile addition for small kitchens or dining areas. Crafted from solid acacia hardwood, it features a durable square tabletop with a drop-leaf extension that expands from 75cm to 110cm, perfect for accommodating extra guests or providing additional surface space for serving dishes. The table leaf neatly collapses when not in use to help maintain an open living space. With its clean lines, compact profile, and high-quality construction, this extending table is a practical and elegant solution for maximizing space in modern kitchens and dining rooms. Our Stylist Says

I love this table for its versatile size and bold navy blue finish, making it a great statement piece in both contemporary and rustic interiors. Its extending feature gives flexibility-perfect for accommodating extra guests without taking up too much space when not in use. To style it, consider pairing with natural wood or metal chairs to complement the dual-tone design, and add a colourful or textured runner for added visual interest. It works especially well in open-plan kitchens or dining rooms with a relaxed, coastal, or Scandinavian vibe, but it can also bring a fresh touch to more classic settings when styled with neutral accessories and simple crockery. Its practical size makes it adaptable for smaller spaces, while the extending feature keeps it functional if you need more seating on occasion.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
