Price History

Description

Bring a touch of nature indoors with the Floral Embroidery Cushion in Sage, measuring 45x45cm. Featuring intricate floral embroidery, this cushion adds a delicate charm to your home decor. Its soft texture and soothing colour make it a cosy addition to any living space.

Our Stylist Says

This cushion is a great addition for adding subtle texture and a calming colour palette to both contemporary and traditional interiors. I love how the floral embroidery brings a touch of elegance without being overly formal, making it versatile for use on sofas, armchairs, or even bed sets. For styling, pair it with neutral or pastel tones to keep the look fresh, or mix it with darker shades for more contrast. Practical tips include layering it with different textures or patterns-such as velvet or linen-to create visual interest, and keeping the embroidery as a focal point with more understated cushions around it. It’s an easy way to introduce a refined, yet approachable, aesthetic to any room.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
