Description
Artemide pays tribute to its founder: Italian designer Ernesto Gismondi passed away in Milan, on 31 December 2020. To mark the 10thth anniversary of his Ilio floor lamp, the brand is releasing a limited editions, engraved with Ernesto Gismondi's signature and the piece's serial number (2,000 pieces produced). This unique version features an ombré-effect metallic finish, created using PVD technology. This gradient of shades, from warm to cool, from gold to silver, wonderfully interact with its environment, subtly reflecting the colours. Designed in 2013, Ilio is an ultra-minimalistic floor lamp with pop style which gets straight down to business! With its simple geometry, stripped of any formal digression, Ilio does away with anything superfluous to make light and colour the centrepiece. Ilio’s sleek design beautifully sets off the light that illuminates the length of its aluminium tube. The ultra-powerful LED at the top of the cylinder provides diffuse and indirect performance lighting, both functional and glare-free. The Ilio floor lamp provides general lighting for a room, guaranteeing excellent visual comfort and a very pleasant light atmosphere. Dimmer located on the body of the lamp. The lighting can be controlled by Bluetooth using a smartphone app (free to download on Apple Store & Google Play). By using the Artemide app, you can turn the light on and off, reduce the intensity of the lamp, create an infinity of light scenarios for your home…
