Description

Born from a spirited debate over the ultimate fabric for sleep, the Floks luxury bed linen range blends the best of both worlds – soft, breathable organic cotton and naturally robust hemp – to bring you a bedding experience that’s as sustainable as it is luxurious. Crafted with care, this innovative duvet cover features two beautifully balanced sides: one made from GOTS-certified organic cotton in a silky-smooth sateen weave, the other from premium quality hemp – a naturally breathable, antibacterial fibre known for its durability, temperature regulation and eco-credentials. Together, these natural materials offer exceptional comfort all year round, keeping you cool in summer and cosy in winter. Floks bed linen is made in Portugal by expert textile makers who share the values of sustainability, quality, and integrity. Every item is crafted to last, washing beautifully and softening further over time – with no need to iron. Pillowcases are sold in pairs. Our Stylist Says

I love this bedding for its sustainable credentials and natural texture, making it versatile across a range of schemes. The organic cotton and hemp blend adds a relaxed, breathable feel perfect for both minimalist and boho interiors. It works especially well in neutral or earthy colour palettes, where its tactility can be appreciated fully. For styling, consider layering with textured throws and cushions in complementary fibres like linen or wool to highlight its organic vibe. Its understated look pairs beautifully with modern Scandinavian or rustic interiors, making it an easy upgrade for anyone seeking an eco-friendly yet effortlessly stylish bedroom refresh.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
