Description
Poetic lighting. Like an abstract drawing, the Flock of Light pendant looks like a pencil line, a sketch drawn in the air. This pendant light has a very fine, flexible copper wire structure on which are hung brass and translucent polycarbonate capsules containing the LED light sources. The multiple light beams seem to be suspended in space. This swarm of lights resembles a myriad of twinkling stars, a dance of fireflies or the grand finale of a firework display. The copper wires serve as a conductor (very low voltage electrical current) to power the LED light sources. This Electrosandwich technology patented by Moooi eliminates the need for unsightly electrical cables and maintains a clean aesthetic. To enhance the impression of lights suspended in space, the electric cable is transparent. Evanescent, light and ethereal, this pendant with its remarkable dimensions is a true light sculpture that lends its poetry all around the house.
