I’m a big fan of this floating TV unit for its clean lines, matt-black finish and clever up-and-down doors that hide away remotes and clutter. It really suits contemporary city flats, minimalist or industrial-style living rooms, especially when paired with pale wood or concrete textures. For styling, keep the top surface neat - a slim soundbar, a couple of framed prints leaning against the wall and one or two sculptural vases or plants work well. Tuck all cables through the back and add an LED strip beneath for subtle mood lighting. The result is a streamlined media area that feels both organised and effortlessly modern.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
