Description

The Fleur 1 drawer bedside table is a feminine design that offers practical storage, making it an attractive addition to any bedroom. Made in Europe from solid oak and oak veneers, handmade ceramic handles give it the individual look of a quirky, found piece. Designed by our in-house team and made, it is part of the comprehensive Fleur bedroom furniture range.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bedside table for its simple, clean lines and warm oak finish, which lends itself well to both Scandi-inspired interiors and more neutral, minimalist spaces. It’s a versatile piece that balances practicality with understated charm, perfect for inserting into a range of bedrooms - from modern to rustic. Practical styling tips include pairing it with soft, textured bedding and accessories in complementary natural tones or adding a pop of colour with small decorative objects or a lamp. Because of its compact size and single drawer, it works well in smaller bedrooms or alongside larger pieces to keep surfaces clutter-free. Its timeless oak look also allows for easy mixing and matching with other wooden accents or furniture, ensuring it remains stylish for years to come.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
