Our Stylist Says
I love this pendant shade for its understated elegance and versatile style. The off-white velvet fabric adds a soft, luxurious touch, making it a great choice for both classic and contemporary interiors. Its fringed detail brings a subtle interest without overpowering the overall look. It works particularly well in relaxed living rooms, bedrooms, or dining areas where you want to add a touch of sophistication. Practical styling tips include pairing it with warm-toned light bulbs for a cosy glow, and hanging it at a height that provides optimal task lighting while maintaining a sense of intimacy in the space. It’s a simple yet impactful piece that can elevate the overall ambiance of a room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
