Description

Add an industrial look to your décor with the Fion Tiltable Downlight. This downlight is finished in a stunning brushed copper and is tiltable for a practical beam of light in any direction of your choosing. It is also IP65 rated, meaning that it is sufficiently water resistant enough to be used in the bathroom.

Our Stylist Says

I love this copper downlight because of its sleek, modern look that adds warmth and sophistication to any space. Its brushed finish makes it a versatile piece that works particularly well in contemporary interiors, especially kitchens, hallways, or dining areas. The tiltable design offers practical flexibility-ideal for highlighting artwork, architectural features, or creating targeted task lighting. For styling tips, consider pairing it with other brass or copper fixtures to create a cohesive metallic theme, or contrasting it with matte black accents for a more industrial vibe. Its IP65 rating also makes it suitable for bathroom or outdoor use, adding functionality without sacrificing style.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
