I love the Findlay table for its compact square form and the way the warm walnut top contrasts with the slim black legs finished in brass - it brings a subtle mid-century edge without feeling over the top. It works equally well in a small city flat or an open-plan kitchen, especially alongside leather-seat chairs or simple Scandinavian-style dining chairs in muted fabrics.
For styling, layer a neutral jute or sisal rug beneath to ground the table, then keep your tabletop styling minimal: a low ceramic vase with fresh greenery, matte black or off-white crockery and a linen napkin for texture. If you have a darker painted accent wall, position the table nearby to pick out those brass tips and add depth to the space.
