Description

Mura childrens chair from Ferm Living is made of FSC-certified oak and oak veneer, providing a stable and durable construction at the dining table. The oak children’s chair can be used from the moment the child can sit without support and accompanies them through the early years at family mealtimes. Its sculptural form with long, tapered legs creates a secure, balanced silhouette that suits both kitchen and dining room. The adjustable footrest offers ergonomic support and adapts the chair as the child grows. The meal tray and safety bar can be easily added or removed depending on whether the child is eating on their own tray or sitting at the table with you. A sleek children’s chair that combines function, comfort, and Scandinavian design for family life.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little chair for its simple, Scandi-inspired aesthetic and the natural warmth it adds to a child's space. The untreated oak finish makes it versatile enough to blend seamlessly with both neutral interiors and more colourful, playful rooms. It works well in modern minimalist nurseries or as part of a layered, more relaxed scheme with soft textures and cosy accessories. Practically, its sturdy structure and size make it ideal for both play and mealtime, while the untreated wood encourages a tactile experience for little ones. Styling tips include pairing it with a colourful cushion or personalised name tag for extra character, and keeping it paired with a matching table or creative artwork to create a cohesive, inviting environment.

They're also making strides in environmental efforts, always seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. This focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility isn't just for today, but with an eye on the future, ensuring that both their designs and their business practices stand the test of time.

Bridging Cultures Through Translation

In today's interconnected world, language shouldn't stand in the way. To ensure their customers around the world can easily browse and shop, Nordic Nest partnered with Contentor, a company specialising in translations, to offer their website in multiple languages.

Their online shop, now available in ten languages, shows their commitment to localised content, ensuring that every visitor feels a personal connection.

Working with Contentor, Nordic Nest has focused on more than just translating words. They've worked together to create a full, enjoyable shopping experience for customers everywhere.
