Description

Wrap yourself in warmth and luxury with our Felt Throw. This blanket is available in Natural, Emerald Green, Charcoal, and RAF Blue, with contrasting blanket stitch detailing for a rustic appearance that adds personality to your interior. This throw, measuring 130 x 150cm, is the perfect addition to your home decor and can be draped over your furniture as a visual accent piece, or used as a coverup on chilly evenings.

Our Stylist Says

I love this blue throw because of its versatile and contemporary colour that works beautifully in both modern and traditional interiors. The blanket stitch detail adds a subtle touch of craftsmanship, making it an ideal layer for a stylish sofa or bed. It’s perfect for adding colour and texture without overwhelming the space, and its practical size allows it to be draped casually or folded neatly for a tidy look. For a cozy, inviting feel, pair it with neutral cushions or a textured blanket in a complementary tone. This throw works particularly well in living rooms with navy or grey colour schemes, or in bedrooms that aim for a calm and cohesive aesthetic. Keep it accessible for everyday use by folding it over the arm of a sofa or draping it across the foot of a bed, and it’ll add comfort and style effortlessly.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
